Here are some tips for caring for candles:

Safety 

Keep candles away from children and pets, and never leave them unattended. Place them on a stable, heat-resistant surface that's safe from fire, drafts, and vibrations. Remove all packaging before burning. 

Trimming 

Trim the wick to about ¼ in or 3 mm before lighting the candle, or every four hours of burn time. Trimming helps the candle burn evenly and cleanly. 

Burning 

For the first burn, make sure the candle burns evenly. Don't burn candles for more than four hours at a time, as the jar can become very hot. Keep the wax pool free of debris like matches and wick trimmings. 

Extinguishing 

Use a candle snuffer to gently extinguish the candle instead of blowing it out. This minimizes wick smoldering, which can cause smoke, and prevents wax from spilling. Don't use water to extinguish a candle, as it can splatter hot wax and break glass containers. Make sure the candle is completely out and the wick ember is no longer glowing before leaving the room. Don't touch or move the candle until it's cooled down. 

Storage

Keep wax melts away from children, pets, and flammable objects. Never leave a burning wax melt unattended, and don't add water to it, as this can cause a fire. Wax melts are also not edible, so if someone ingests one, seek immediate medical attention. 

Storage 

Store wax melts in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. 

Burning

Use a wax warmer or burner designed for melting wax. Place the wax melt in the warmer's dish or tray, but don't overfill it. Overfilling can cause spillage, which could damage the warmer or be a safety risk. You can reuse wax melts until the scent fades. 

Maintenance

Before each use, clear any dust or debris from the wax's surface.After the wax has cooled, cover it to prevent more dust and debris from collecting, which could cause a fire hazard.When you're done using the wax, put it in the trash if you don't plan to reuse it, but don't pour hot wax down the drain

Tunneling in Zenith Aura candles is most likely caused by not allowing the candle to burn enough during each burn session. Please allow the wax to reach almost the edges of the container before extinguishing.

Tunneling can also be caused by cutting the wick too short- thus drowning out the wick.

Too far tunneled already? EASY FIX! Due to the soft nature of coconut wax, it’s easily scoop able. When wax is cooled, take a spoon and scoop the surrounding edges of extra wax until you have created an EVEN surface. Make sure your wick is trimmed to 1/4 inch, light and enjoy!
